8th Annual Conference on Help, Healing and Hope After Loss
Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 — The Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss, will present the 8th Annual Conference on Help, Healing and Hope After Loss on Thursday May 26th at DoubleTree by Hilton in Skokie. The evening starts with a dessert reception at 7pm followed by the program from 7:30 – 8:30pm. This year we welcome guest speaker Dr. Phyllis Kosminsky, a clinical social worker specializing in life threatening illness and grief. There is no charge to attend and all are welcome.

This year we welcome guest speaker Dr. John Jordan PhD, who will talk about “Grief After Sudden Loss: Finding Hope and Healing”. There is no charge to attend and all are welcome.
Hand in Hand: A Grief Support Group for Those 55 or Younger
Mondays, November 14th-January 9th, 2017 — For those who are grieving the death of their spouse or partner within the past two years. This group will focus on the issues facing younger spouses including taking on new roles, self-care, coping skills, and getting support. We will provide dinner and childcare.
SHALOM RAV: A day of support, reflection, community, hope and peace for the bereaved
Sunday, November 6th, 2016 — Join others bereaved in the community for a day filled with healing activities including art, mindfulness, music, poetry, Jewish study, contemplation and more. Participants will be offered group support, a choice of activities and an opportunity to connect to others in the community. Open to the adult bereaved.
