We were able to send therapists to help in the Newtown tragedy through the Jewish United Fund and the Jewish Community Emergency Resiliency Team (J-CERT). J-CERT’s mission is to prepare for, respond to, and recover from critical incidents that affect the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond. Through our supplemental grant, J-CERT was able to strengthen their local efforts and enhance their ability to reach out to the Newtown community during their time of need.
