This initiative, in partnership with the Jewish Healing Network of Chicago, will take place on November 14th, 2012.
We will host the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss Conference on Help, Healing and Hope after Loss. This two part conference will be led by internationally renowned grief expert Dr. Kenneth Doka, PhD and a panel of experts.
The afternoon session, “Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy: Who is Doing What?” will be directed towards mental health and spiritual care professionals. The evening session, “Sudden Loss and Grief: The Path to Recovery” will be open to the community and focus on sudden loss. It will take place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Skokie. There will be no cost to attend. Please contact Elizabeth Cohen at 847-745-5404 for more information on the session.
